Shiloh is 4 weeks old

Lincoln's favorite gave is 'raquets'. Debra from Parents As Teachers introduced it to him during a visit. Shiloh is a great baby. She's pretty mellow unless she's hungry. Besides when eating she's only awake for 3 or 4 hours every day. She eats every 3 hours on the dot and usually gives mom one 4 hour stretch during the night.
Baby is still a bit small for the swing. She always ends up curled up in a little ball in the bottom. I still use it to grab a few 2 handed moments now and then.
Poor Lincoln. It's past time for mom and dad to take him to get a real haircut instead of butchering him with the clippers. John is responsible for this haircut.

It looks like he's squeezing the life out of Shiloh, but he's been practicing being gentle.
Lincoln always says, "My Turn!" when mom brings out the camera and starts snapping shots of Shiloh.

Life with new baby

Shiloh will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. Vacation John has to return to work and shave the scrougies. He's thinking about keeping the soul patch. Sometimes the hungry hippos have to be force fed.
Go Yanks.

Shiloh is all dressed up for a day on the town.
Like Mom, Lincoln is great at multitasking. He read Shiloh his "Johnny wants to be a doctor" book.

Baby Shiloh

Lincoln is crazy about little sister Shiloh. He's proud to be a big brother. Shiloh Bea Scherzer arrived Monday November 6, 2006 at 1143 am. At birth she weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and was 20.5 inches long.
I love the forehead wrinkles!
Cousin Darin was thrilled with baby Shiloh and held her several times.
Go Team!

Puddle splashing with Keeko, Myles, and Mom at Teklanika campground in Denali.
Got my creativity hat on.
Hanging with Dad during a break from the bus ride to Wonder Lake.

What is he thinking here? He's not sure if he should laugh or be mad. Or maybe he's just thinking, "Mom is SUCH a weirdo."
Winter 2005. The feet-eating daddy-monster strikes again.
