Lincoln tells stories. He knows the 3 little pigs and Goldilocks and the 3 bears. He likes to tell us a bedtime story but the narration part isn't as important to him as the conversations so the story goes something like this:
"Can I go in the woods?"
"Yes"
"walk walk walk walk"
(knock on the wood headboard or bunkbed) knock knock
"This is too hot"
"This is too cold"
"Mmmm, this is just right"
(gobbling noises)
"This is too hard"
"This is too soft"
"Mmmm, this is just right"
(snoring noises)
(the 3 bears come home and discover that someone has been eating their porridge, sitting in their chairs, and sleeping in their beds. They all use the same high-pitched, bear voice to announce their discoveries)
"Ahhhhhhhhhh" (That's the noise Goldilocks makes as she runs away screaming.)
Writing it down like this doesn't nearly do it justice, so I will try to get some video soon to share with you!
Here's Lincoln playing GoFish with Mimi and Donnie last week.
Shiloh is the boss at Scherzerville. I know she knows how to say "Nuk" (milk) because that was one of her first words, but she refuses to say it now. I can spend 5 minutes pretending that I don't know what she wants and asking her, "do you want some milk, Shiloh? Milk?" and she just points at her sippy cup on the table and says, "unhhhh". It's definitely a control issue and there is no question in my mind that I'm not the one who has it!
Sunday she wasn't feeling well so we introduced her to Popsicles.
