Snow Painting

Last week it snowed a LOT at our house. We got a good 6 inches ovenight and after I snowblowed the driveway, there were walls of snow that were like blank canvases. So Lincoln and I filled water bottles with food coloring and water and went snow painting!

Then Uncle Kevin came over with the four-wheeler-plow and pushed the snow back further, erasing our 'art' work. I was just about to break out the pink flamingos and garden trolls...

Lincoln loves dressing up in his suits. He has added 'cowboy' to the repertoire...

Lincoln and Shiloh and I had to visit the DMV a couple weeks ago. It was 20 below so the kids were all bundled up. While we were there Lincoln had to go potty so we rushed into the bathroom, shedding winter gear as we went. We made it in time and all went well. Then I got everyone all bundled up again, avoiding a near miss with Shiloh's gloves in the toilet and were about to go when Lincoln announced he had to go again! Sigh. It's still much better than having to change 2 kids in diapers though...

Pigtails, Dippity-Do and Dancing

Not many of my New Years shots came out but here's one of Nikki and Tyler hanging by the bonfire:

This is the first day I put Shiloh in pigtails! We were all happy about how cute she looked.

Lincoln got out of bed one night and painted mascara all over his forehead and put an entire jar of Sculpting Wax (which has never succeeded in giving me short, sexy hair anyway) in his hair, the carpet, and his bunkbed. John washed his hair 5 times and it's still greasy. Lincoln is lucky it's 20 below or I might have shaved his head!

This morning Shiloh successfully fed herself some Cheerios and milk with a spoon. Progress!

I'm so bummed because I had the cutest video of Lincoln and Shiloh dancing to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song but I must have deleted it off the camera! Waaaaaaaaah! They've learned everything they know about dancing from their father:
