Ice park

Before Christmas Kevin and I took all the kids to the ice park in North Pole. It was 20 below the day we went but we bundled everybody up anyway and only stayed out about half an hour. This one is blurry but it captures the mood of the day

Caleb is riding on this huge long slide that was more of a luge! It was so fast the kids almost needed helmets! Optom-Ice Prime was the guest of honor. Lincoln is sad in this picture because I'm making him go home while the cousins get to play a little longer in the park.

Library trip

John read a book to the kiddoes at the library this afternoon

but not until after they both checked out the turtles and fish

Lincoln got a haircut today. It's supposed to be spikey but mostly it's just short. Now I can see the flat spot on the back of his head again. I remember being so happy when he finally grew hair to cover that up!

Okay... Now that I've double checked I have to say that back then it wasn't so much flat as conical! This shot is from October of '05 (hee hee hee):
