Bubbles, superheroes, and motorcycle safety

In April we were all anxiously awaiting Spring. The snow kept melting and then we'd get another few inches. That would finally melt and we'd get a few inches more. The kids and I finally went out on the deck and enjoyed some pre-spring bubbles.

Lincoln practiced his karate moves on the innocent bubbles.

Shiloh is growing like a weed. She knows so many words now and she copies everything we say. When you ask her what she wants to eat she always answers "pizza". And she can spot the golden arches from across the city at which point she starts chanting "french fries". (I swear I hardly ever take them there!)
She feeds herself without help now and sometimes she even eats vegetables. I finally started serving her babyfood again so she would occasionally eat something green.

She also enjoys cookies and watching her favorite: "Dora".

Like his father, Lincoln cannot pose for a photo with a straight face!!!

Lincoln likes motorcycles and four-wheelers and always points out whether or not the people riding them have helmets or not, prompting Shiloh to shout "Safe!" Of course she shouts that out whether they're wearing helmets or not, but at least it's entertaining! Lincoln frequently informs me (and anyone who will listen) that when he gets big he wants a blue motorcycle with a blue helmet and a red snowmachine with a red helmet.
Lincoln doesn't pick out his clothes in the mornings yet, but he chooses his superhero outfits with care. Tonight when he was watching over my shoulder as I sorted out the pictures I wanted to post he saw this one and said, "I want to be that boy"

He pretty much hated cross-country skiing, but the shoes get plenty of wear anyway. :)
