Our Fun Filled Weekend

The kids and I did nothing but play in the sun all weekend.

Sunday was Rylie's birthday party. Ruby and Lincoln stopped playing in the sand long enough to smile cheezily for the camera. Here's mom holding 6-week-old baby Ali while Lincoln checks her out.
Saturday we all had a picnic in the park.

The big boys played golf (on the softball field)
the little boys played golf
There were a few hurt feelings...
But everything got worked out in the end.

Days of Summer

Already this summer we've had some 80 degree days! Lincoln took advantage of the heat and ran through the sprinkler. Messy girl always tries to steal the spoon and feed herself!

Shiloh is finally crawling. She still army crawls on her belly if she's in a hurry but she's getting faster and faster at the real thing.

In the woods

Here's a picture of Lincoln that's a couple months old. This is from when he first started loving swords. This picture reminds me of the time after I got him dressed that he asked me to change his pants. I put a different pair on him and he immediately pulled up his shirt and inserted his drum sticks (swords) into the belt loops. He didn't like the first pair because they had no loops! Eventually we bought him foam swords. Here's a shot of him and Daddy traipsing through the woods, prepared for anything.
Shiloh and I came along for the walk.

The many faces of Lincoln

Lincoln has been learning about expressing his feelings lately. Here's a great series of his range of facial expressions. Unfortunately these shots happened after several hours of yard work (where Lincoln was a great helper!) but before bath time. So, just so you know, those aren't disgusting growths on his face. That's just dirt. :)
