The best thing at the ice park this year was the series of slides.
There were colored fluorescent lights build in to the walls. Pretty spectacular at night.

The Ice Cabin was cool too. It was furnished with an ice bed and an ice table which contained ice bananas and 2 ice goblets. Tyler and Isaac enjoyed the sculptures with us

That is amazing with the lights. I don't think they had the ice park and ice sledding when I was still living there. (or maybe I just didn't care back then?? I don't know?)
These are so cool! We will try to visit Snow Festival in Hokkaido (big Northern Island in Japan where I grew up) while we are in Japan, and I hope it's as cool as this one in Alaska;)
